Jonson Y. Kuhn is a 24 year old local Denver/Boulder writer and proud father of his curiously bright four year old, Hadyn. Jonson's plays have been featured in Seattle, New York, throughout Colorado and soon to be in Los Angeles at the beginning of the new year. His plays include Cowgirls Blame It On Monday, Telling the Moon Hannah Haxby Left Boulder, Exposition Avenue, Manhattan's Last Fight, The Trouble With Pigtails, Denver, and in 2004 he won the RMTA Playwrighting Award for his one-act Redneck In Shining Armor. His book Trails of Bitter Buffalo: East to West has been printed by The Basics Fund (a non-profit organization dedicated to providing health insurance for artists) and his next two books The Mid-West Travels of Cowgirl Boote and her Bitter Buffalo and Trails of Bitter Buffalo: Poetry In Southwestern Motion are in progress now and will be available at the website thebasicsfund.org.
jonsonkuhn's Genres: Influences: Sam Shepard, Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, John Fante, and Tom Robbins. I enjoy the art of story telling and I am constantly in pursuit of honing the craft.
