I was born into an Irish home. My father was always reciting Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" among other poems Poe wrote. My father certainly had a flare for the dramatic and instilled in me a love and passion for poetry, for which I will always be grateful. My sister is an incredibly talented writer, one of the best I've ever read, and I'm extremely proud of her. I would like to be half the writer she is , which is why I am here, to study my craft.
