Kimberly began work in the beauty industry back in 1988, so it's no surprise that she has enthusiastically expanded her realm of beauty to every aspect of her personal life as well!
Her unquenchable drive to pursue art, and her love for beauty has succeeded in many different directions, with decorating being one of many on the list.
Kimberly is an accomplished home decorator; being expertly skilled in the basic and intricate fundamentals of design, and self taught in painting full sized wall murals of all kinds. She is practiced in the art of refurbishing antiques, faux finishing, creating floral arrangements, and designing gift baskets, and even ran her own home decorating company (Goodacre Home Store), for five consecutive years.
But out of all these talents, there was only one that stole her heart completely; writing! Kim's first experience with writing began with creating poems, which evolved into lyrics for songs.
Over the years, her writing began to take on a life of it's own; leaning towards children's books with her children and pets giving her much of the inspiration! After the completion of her first few books, Kimberly knew that she was in it for the long haul, and found it only fitting to publish these books under a press named after her children.
Currently, Kimberly has a multitude of children's projects underway, as well as several adult novels underway.
