Matthew Lindsey was born in the small town of Payson Arizona. For the first three months of life he lived in Arizona, until his family decided to move to California. Matthew grew up in California and his love of writing grew with him. He wrote his first poem in the sixth grade. It was entitled "The Key." Matthew now resides in California capital of Sacramento and continues to write. He is attending American River College, working towards a Theater Arts Major.
