I have been writing simply for my own enjoyment for as long as I can remember. In primary school creative writing was part of my daily school life, and I guess thats where my love for writing came from. I've tried my hand at a little poetry, which stemmed into writing rap lyrics due to my obsession as a teenager with Eminem, and when I was 11 I attended a young writers conference where my first ever full-length (not to mention only ever completed!!) story was perused by some New Zealand professionals. I don't quite remember what it was they said, but my mum had the "book" laminated and bound so it must have been goodish! Haha. Influences include a little John Grisham, a fair amount Traci Harding, but the main one is my dark imagination!
