I am... therefore I write...
A Scribbler. A Drunkard. A Social Critic.
And seriously Zen, all of a sudden.
My name is Ben McCabe. That's with a Capital 'C', something that my Display Name won't let me have.
I could write more about my life, but most of the time it's irrelevant. Instead I feel like writing about my Sunday Afternoons as an insight to my life.
I work part-time at a video store in Cornwall, which for those who don't know is a little known country just off the south-west of England [or wants to be]. Every Sunday I wake up just in time to run down to work and see the mountain of DVD's to sort.
Then comes the rush, every week the same people who haven't yet learned that there are no DVD's left in the shop from the night before. Then comes the lull, between 3 and 5, where nobody comes into the shop unless it is to take out the DVD I'm watching.
Finally the second rush, normally just before I get off my shift and just as I'm trying to cash out.
That's my Sunday afternoon in a nutshell. I don't know whether it offers a valuable insight to my life, but it's different I guess...
