I have always loved reading and writing; I remember writing my own version of Enid Blyton's Enachanted Wood at the sge of 9 or 10. Since leaving college I have done various jobs, some with publishers, but was never truly happy in my work; all I really wanted to do was make a living as an author, but I didn't have the nerve to try or the self-belief! Now I have decided to give it as good a go as I can: I've realised that life is just too short to not do what you really would love to do (or at least give it one hell of a good shot!).
