Mari, my pen name, is defining my own boundaries and not allowing people to tell me what I can and can not do, because through Christ who strengthens me, I am able.
I started writing fiction in eighth grade. It was story based off real situations that faced myself and a group of friends that I made in drama class. The characters were real but as the plot thickened, I lost control over my writing. Since then, I have been able to maintain and complete over four stories and one novel.
Like all great writers, I have a passion for reading; from Judy Blume to V.C. Andrews and from Omar Tyree to John Grisham. Eversince I was a little girl, my mother would say I was a chatterbox and as time progressed so did my love for words and sharing them with everyone around me.
I am currently working on two novels tentively entitled, Collide and Instant Message.
