i am naseem, and i am a sixteen year old iranian american young woman. and i love to write more than i could articulate. my mind is complex and my writing style is different. i love words. i eat words; i breathe words. and that's that. music has an incredible influence on my life. i AM weird and i WILL confuse you. my poetry is dark; i won't deny it, but i find it very difficult to write about positive, happy things as often as i write about negativity. i have a grey filter over things, and take things with a darker approach, but that isn't always the case. i am very involved with theatre; i have been acting since i was very young, and have been in over 12 productions in the last four years. i also love to sing; i hope to sing on broadway some day. at school, i am a member of the diversity team. next year i plan on joining newspaper and speech team as well. i love people who take a genuine interest in me and my literary works. after high school, i plan to attend the university of minnesota or berkeley to double major in psych and musical theatre with a minor in writing.
