I was schooled in the visual arts at the Philadelphia Museum School of the Arts in Philadelphia and Monmouth College in Long Branch, New Jersey. I worked in the New York professional Photographic industry for many years where I pursued my other interest in Photography. I moved to Oklahoma 28 years ago, where I continue to live the life of an atypical, "starving" artist. Provocation and drama have been my constant bedfellows since I can remember and I have learned more from my mistakes than from my successes. Ignorance was my middle name for longer than I will admit. I began journaling at 30, after a never ending onslaught of personal realizations and traumas. My stories are based on actual experiences and border between Creative Non Fiction and the self help Genera. I can tell you that ignorance is not bliss.
Writing and good food became more and more important to me over the years and at a young sixty one I can proudly state that run on sentences, provocation and poached Salmon have become my nemesis and my redemption. I write because I have exhausted all other options and I eat because there ARE no other options.
