I have a taste for strange juxtaposition and the bizarre. I am easily bored but also easily amused, and I get most of my ideas when I should be doing something else. I like to write weird things that end with a joke, and my guilty pleasure is ham-fisted satire.
Oh, and I am also short as two short things.
My favorite method of writing is short stories, but lately my brain will only flow with poetry. I'm a bit worried about this, but intrigued as well.
I am terrified of seagulls, but I have been known to hang upside down by my knees from stair railings and taunt passersby. I also like to talk, and will tell you almost anything about myself with very little (or no) prompting. Niccole often talks to herself because she likes the sound of her own voice too much, and she clings to her heritage fiercely.
I write many things which I am not, but which I am as I write it. Ridiculously prone to procrastination, I've only submitted one story to one magazine. Yes, I should be ashamed of myself. I am obsessed with death, not because I am goth or something, but because it's incredibly interesting, don't you think? I want to cut up dead people for a living. . . forensic pathologist!
I'm a mean, mean editer, but only when it's justified. I will slash and burn your work until you want to smack me for my presumption, but there will be something valuable for you to use or lose, I promise. I hate melodrama, shock for shock's sake, and trite romance. Sometimes I am brutal, but I will work hard on your writing and mean every word I say.
