I was born at an early age - the older I get the more I realise how early it was.
UK based, I'm a musician/songwriter so the bulk of my stuff is poetry/song lyrics. My main influences being smoking, drinking, coffee and dead dogs.
My work treads over some dark areas of twisted relationships, love and death, jealously and betrayal, violence and remorse, and of course gin, cigarettes and regret.
It's mostly written for the band - Peppercornrent - which is a bit of a big, predominantly acoustic, band wth an arsenal of banjos, guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bass, and thundering bodhran. The sound is a wholesome brew of Thames mud, rusty nails and a pint of London gin. Its sincere, blunt and sexy as fcuk.
