This Los Angles native has lived in San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Kansas City, and Columbus Ohio. He now lives in a small town in the northeastern corner of Kentucky, along with his wife and daughter. Due to a narrow escape from his certain demise, he has come into full realization that he is, and has always been a poet. In the late 80â??s, he studied poetry, literature, psychology, an public speaking at Mesa Community College, Mesa Arizona. The year 2001 started his journey into self expression and wisdomâ??s trial by recording so much of what needed to be articulated. He has composed over one hundred crafted poems dealing with his slow recovery from a near death experience, poetry itself, politics, and Christian themed verse. He has two unpublished manuscripts, Back from Dreamland and September Blue, and is currently working on a third, Jesus and the M16. He has been published in the local paper, as well as the KSPS Journal, Pegasus. He has further hope to being published in a greater capacity while learning the craft all the more. He enjoys the company of fellow poets in the KSPS (Kentucky State Poetry Society) and the 37 year established Flatwoods Poetry Society of Flatwoods Kentucky.
