Jeff is proud to have won two awards for Love & Plutonium, his debut as a solo feature film director: "Best Feature Film" at the Twisted Spine Micro Film Festival and the "Filmrunner Choice Award" from Filmrunner.net, an independent film distribution web site.
Love & Plutonium is a superhero romantic comedy which he co-wrote with his wife Jacquie Floyd, and also produced and starred in. He has recently appeared on stage in Proof, in the role of Hal at Grosse Pointe Theatre, and in Polar Opposites, a short play written by Jacquie and performed as part of Heartlande Theatre's annual Play-by-Play.
His recent films include Amsteroid, a sci-fi adventure directed by Hollywood FX veteran John Higbie, To Have and to Hold, a silent dramatic short that is receiving positive buzz on the festival circuit, and True Extremes, in which he played a shyster lawyer. This summer, Jeff will be playing lead roles in Cold Dead Hands, a cataclysmic horror feature, Keep A Baby, a road-trip comedy with a purpose, and One Dead Dog, a dusty thriller. He (and Jacquie) also recently signed on to be a part of Terra, a new local sci-fi series.
Jeff co-owns Loose Change Entertainment (LCE), a production company with two completed films under its belt (Arbor Daze, Love & Plutonium), one in post-production (Weenie Roast Massacre), and several others in various stages of production (Probejackers, Cold Dead Hands, True Extremes). LCE recently wrapped production on a TV pilot entitled Incorporated, a comedy series about small business, and have several more episodes written and ready to shoot. They plan to pitch the show to cable networks and various other media outlets in 2007.
In addition, Jeff has appeared in numerous radio and TV commercials and indie films, as well as on stage in musicals, plays and improv groups all over Michigan. A founding member of the award-winning sketch comedy show, Loose Change, Priskorn has penned and directed numerous sketches and anchored the on-camera cast for 10 years.
He also fronts two bands: Curious Jack and The Undone. Curious Jack is a radio staple in Detroit, having written a myriad of sports and issue-related parodies and theme songs for Detroit's #1 afternoon radio show, Stoney & Wojo. Their most recent song, "Fire (Matt)", about the ineptitude of the Detroit Lions' front office, has been aired on WDFN in Detroit and WTKG in Grand Rapids. Curious Jack recently learned that their music will be featured in an upcoming display at the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. The Undone is an energetic, wacky and raucous rock and roll band which plays to packed houses in bars and clubs all over Michigan. His former band, Elixir, released an album in 2005. Entitled Love Goes Boom, it is available online and in stores.
Jeff is married to actor and writer Jacquie Floyd. The couple currently resides in Troy, Michigan.
