I grew up in urban Southern California, but eventually ended up moving to a small town in the Sierras where I began my writing career and political activism. As a political activist, I strrive to promote awareness and participation among the youth of America. I have written several articles for the local newspaper and have even spoken on the regional radio station. As for writing, I have a book being released in April 2007 called "The Endless Project", it is a book of poems that deal with universal issues we all face every day.
I began writing poetry with the encouragement of my 12th grade English teacher, so I initially wrote to channel my emotions, but than I began to write for everyone out there who struggles in life.
