Ryan Ferguson is a dilettante of the creative world. In a less sophisticated language, that roughly translates to: Ryan Ferguson is a novel-writer who's never found the inspiration to write a full novel, a poet with no direction, a painter without a pallet, and a musician without a sense of pitch or rhythm. Also, he likes to talk about himself in third person.
Ryan wakes up early each morning, dresses himself in whatever unfortunate item of clothing (bought for him by his mother) happens to be on top of his "clean pile," then procedes to psyche himself for whatever unadventure awaits him throughout the day. His body and his mind have very different ideals on...well, everything. Ryan's ambitions for the future include making enough money to be able to afford a fashion sense, unvailing true love and wearing a hat.
