The words scribbled in the book of my life epitomize a beautiful struggle. I grew up in a small town in North Carolina where I learned small town morals and values. I have since graduated from East Carolina University and moved up to NJ. I came here to get as close to NY as possible, so that I can write. Yes, it's true that you can write anywhere, but my soul craved the life and culture of NYC. The city is my muse.
