Me...I'm a writer at heart. My story begins in the second grade...ahhh Mrs. Genovese, hot blooded Mrs. Genovese...different story
I burst onto the scene like a comet during the second grade poetry contest. Yup, you guessed it, I kicked all those little punks butts! It didn't come easy, there is always a price to pay. 5-7-5....5-7-5 come on WORK THE HOOK! Teachers, parents, faculty and the competition were in awe as I spun my Snoopy Haiku. After the contest it was quite obvious that things would be different; my celebrity grew. Personal crossing guard, my own private jungle gym, 3rd & 4th grade groupies and personal lunch lady (sans flabby triceps). Life was good for this budding superstar. Alas, like most comets, I burned out as scandal hit.
Legally I cannot disclose the details since the court sealed the records. However, I can say that it involved the student gym teacher, a pommel horse and Martin's sparkling cider. Troubled, troubled times for the kid. Pressure forced me to go away, get right, release my vices and remember what got me to the top. I returned from the Drew Barreymore Clinic focused and sober, picking up the pieces of my elementary school career. Sadly, I have not been able to utter a Haiku since...afraid of what it may do to my psyche. Sigh.
Since those days, I have turned to screenplays and manuscripts as therapy. Therapy has been GREAT! I am actively looking for partners to help get some of my projects off the ground. I am so sure that my scripts are GOLD, that I am willing to sell you one! Thats right..for 1/2 the price of Encino Man 2 even.
I write in all genre's; both shorts and feature length. I have been known to write an article or two for nationally published magazines & websites. I am also willing to partner/collaborate and write on spec. I am actively searching for a new agent, my last one was a tool......little help guys.
Lastly, maybe...just maybe if you ask nicely, I will sacrifice myself and write you a...(gulp) haiku..you pick the subject. Thanks for stopping by, please drop a comment my ego needs a stroke!
