I am single male musician (singer(?)/guitarist/songwiter) into the avate-guarde/progressive music(King Crimson, Yes, Gentle Giant...), and the type of music I listen to and play are reflected in my writing: Surreal, but not "artsy"--meaning, thought out characters, conflict, plot, atmosphere, etc. All the neccessary elements of good fiction writing, but within extremely unusual environments.
So, I'm a writer without a home. Just don't know where I fit in my weirdness. For example, some "typical" characters in one of my stories would be enties who can never stop moving or they'll cease to exist. Children who look burned (but are not really) that have to breath in the pulse of spoken words to understand them. .
