Born in the UK, I grew up under the shadow of Yale University in New Haven, CT in the US. I've been writing stories and poems since I could form sentences on the page. During my turbulent adolescent years I was infused with the love for writing plays, and have written three full length plays. I wrote two books of poetry, and a full length historical fiction novel. This was mostly for practice, and I have no intention of publishing these. Currently, I've just finished and self-published my first novel, the first in a trilogy of a young adults' fantasy called The Heart of the Caveat Whale, Book One: The Captives. I like to write like lovers like to kiss - it happens spontaneously, often, and it feels pretty darn good. All of my writing flows from my relationship with Jesus Christ, though I try to steer away from the direct allegory module.
