I've been writing forever. I've had many articles published, I've written PR material and other communications for my own businesses and for friends. I am now choosing to actually make a living at it.
While I write well in a formal style when that is appropriate, what I am usually called on for is very casual, easy to read work. People say my work reads as though I am chatting with them over coffee at the kitchen table. I can do this with technical concepts, creating a document that the end user can easily read and understand. And my work is fun to read.
