i love reading,
some of my favorite authors are orwell, plath, dostoevsky, palhniuk, fitzgerald, hawthorne, kinsella, dahl, sinclair, hosseini, kesey, cleary, poe, silverstein, tolkein, rowling ...... etc
i also love writing. this previous year i have made tremendous strides in improving my writing. i truly love to write poetry.

within the last two years my writing has improved immensly.
i think you'll notice the difference if you read anything that i wrote in '06 to anything that i've recently posted. i used to write to tell a story, and there wasn't much there for the reader to think about or contemplate. now i try to give the reader something to think about, contemplate, and draw their own conclusions from. there is a lot more extended metaphor throughout my newer stuff, so keep that in mind while reading.

i had thought about deleting my old stuff, but i'm not going to, its just evidence of growth, even if it does suck.
