Evy (spiritluvchild) has been writing as far back as she can remember with well over 3,000 pieces. She recently is a regular poet on the spoken word scene in Los Angeles .
She's been featured at several local venues, including: The famous, 5 th Street Dicks Coffeehouse in Leimert Park , California , Spoken Funk at Miyagi's, Coffee on Sixth as well as many others in and around Southern California and Nevada .
She's also worked as a panelist/judge for the 2006 Black Writers Conference in Los Angeles .
She's loved writing all her life, and recently published her first book entitled "Passages"
Her writer name, spiritluvchild came to her a few years back during her transitioning stage. She belongs to several online poetry boards world wide and was voted New Horizon's Poet of the Month in July 2006. She's won numerous awards for her work and been honored as an outstanding poet on several boards in the online poetry community.
