I am 21 years old and have just graduated from the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance. I am a training Writer and Director.
I am interested in the subersive 'imaginary' world of 'life'... I place myself in shoes that doesn't necessarily need filling and view the world from a point of view often not embarked apon (arrogant to say I know - but then again I feel writers should become more arrogant... gmf)... two years a go I wrote a story called "Airy Fairy" (Homosapien vs. Heterosapien) - a world where gay is straight and straight is gay - The story followed young boy Dirk who had to come out to his two lesbian mother's in a predominantly gay world. Chasing him from the other side, the STRAIGHT MAFIA try to decipher the plan of the GAT (Gay ActivisTs) (Which also happened to be Dirk's parenst) The day was saved by the Bisexual "bling-bling" priest that gave them all anti - discrimanotory pills to drink.
A bizarre story I know - but it was fun and won a R25 000 cash prize! Loverly! (Arrogant again... sorry)
