A native of Macon, GA, Karen has been writing for pleasure and sometimes for profit since the age of 6. A vivid imagination has never been a problem and it didn't hurt that spelling was her favorite subject in school. She has an A.A. degree in Journalism from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, OK.
In addition to her writing, she has been a "jane of all trades" working in several different occupations from pizza delivery to newspaper reporter and has worked in offices, hotels and even a detox center.
She currently lives in St. Augustine with her fiance and her dog.
