A writer by nature, I tend to write about whatever floats past me. It may come rushing past at 11 in the morning like my three children or lazily floating by at 3 a.m. - and for some reason, my itchy fingers always drag me to the computer keyboard to get each and every word down before the moment is gone. It is a curse and a gift. And aren't you the lucky one to be sitting there reading the latest something from my redheaded-fried brain?
I love to create - be it with digital photography, drama on the stage and the characters who did not exist until i brought them to life, or the keyboard type of creation -the writing that flows freely at all hours of the day if given free reign. I hunger to reinvent myself and the world around me - or to capture what just flew by and must not stay gone forever...
As a mom of three - this is one of the only things that is solely mine and not someone else's, it is my own world to dive into. We live on a quaint tree lined street in a sweet subdivision in a place where the kids run up and down the block playing all summer together. The surface is shiny and honey coated. But if you scratch the exterior - you will find each house holds a family with pains and crisis's, and realities that belie the painted siding.
It is the reality I like to get at in my writing, photography, drama, and in life.
