William Sutton grew up in Scotland. His studies included stints in Connecticut and Oxford. He has also lived in London, Brazil and Italy.

Besides writing plays, stories and articles, he has performed on the Edinburgh Fringe, acted in the worldâ??s longest play, taught Latin and Greek, tutored pop stars, driven film stars, and played cricket for Brazil.

He has just returned to the U.K. after several years abroad writing, teaching and singing in pubs and ice-cream parlours.

The Worms of Euston Square, a literary mystery set in Victorian London, was published in August 2006 by independent Edinburgh publisher, Mercat Press. It deals with sabotage, scandal and stink in the era of Victorian marvels.
"Extravagant and thoroughly enjoyable." Allan Massie, The Scotsman
"First-rate Victorian crime fiction." The Glasgow Herald
"A blast from the capital's past which brilliantly mirrors our own troubled and nervous times." Amazon Review
