Be entered into the Editor's Choice Award with a cash prize of $500.

There are hundreds of stories uploaded each month on the Edit Red Writing Community, but only one is selected every month as the winner of the Writer’s Choice Award for Short Stories.

Each winner will go on to choose the following month’s winner.
All winners of the award will be entered in to the yearly Editor's Choice Award with a cash prize of $500.

How to Participate

Upload one or more stories (also free and takes just one minute ).
The most effective way to do this is to click on the image of this month's winner below.

When you get to his/her page, read some of their work, and post insightful comments. Telling them 'Nice, I liked it,' is unlikely to impress anyone enough to check out your work. Whatever you do, avoid sending mails asking an award winner to read your work. The Choice Award Winners are sought after, so you'll want to stand out of the crowd.
