Well I've been writing since I was eight.I love writing. It is my air, my escape from the insanites. My life is no fairytale.......I've been thru alot.....and by god's grace I'm still here.Sharing my experiences, teaching, furthering my own growth.Ambition="one's will to pursue what may be out of reach, then setting new goals to see how far one can go."That's the credo I live by. Alot of my poems are actually pieces I wrote in my teens.They are a reflection upon being West Indian and watching the West Indian women within my life continuously sacrifice their wants and needs for others...simply after the reflections ...the cycle stops with me.I am a queen and I know I deserve all the good things life has to offer and I wont settle for less...never have and never will.My writings are a reflection of the pains I saw my mother, granny, aunts, friends'moms endure as a child and what they still continue to believe they have to deal with.I sat back and watched and now I tell their stories.
